was a Casting Director for 23 years seeing the casting world from three different sides: as an Independent Casting Director, A Network Casting Executive and a Studio Casting Executive.

After witnessing thousands of auditions over the years, Holly formed HOLLY POWELL STUDIOS, and began teaching her 4 Week Audition Workshops. These Audition Workshops simulate the real casting and audition process by holding “mock” auditions while other actors “act as” Producers and the Director. All auditions are on-camera and actors take home a dvd of their work each week.

Over the six years Holly has been conducting these Workshops, the format has remained the same: The Pre-Read, The Callback, Reading For Studio Executives, and Testing At The Network. However, the Workshops evolved with each class, and her “6 Audition Tools Method” morphed over time to become the bedrock of the 4 Week Audition Workshops.

Holly’s Audition Workshops are not acting classes and are not for the beginning actor. They are for the professional actor or acting student of all levels who have trained elsewhere, and for actors wanting to take their audition skills to the next level.
